2023: Oyedepo To Nigerian Youths – Be Sensitive Deciding Your Future
BY EDMOND ODOK – The President and Founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, aka ‘Winners Chapel’, Bishop David Oyedepo says Nigerian youths must be sensitive in decision making as any step taken during this period will either impact positively or negatively on their future.
He said arising from happenings around the world and Nigeria in particular; “The youths must understand the times and seasons of life”, adding; “If you miss your planting season as a farmer, you have lost out on the harvest for the year.”
Hammering on the need for the youth populace to stay focused on pursuing their God-given talents and set goals as responsible citizens and individuals, Bishop Oyedepo said; “We serve a God of times and seasons, so we must be conversant with His timings not to lose the beauty ordained for each season in our life.”
The Presiding Bishop, who spoke at the International Youth Alive Convention 2022 tagged ‘Destined for Dominion’, cautioned youths to beware of the new generation syndrome that does not have regards for the past.
According to him, “This is the prime time of your life; please be sensitive. The season you are in, now according to scriptures, is where your future is determined. Therefore, don’t sell off your birthright.
“It is your season of visions where you have a bearing for your life. You are in your age of visions; the age of discovery of your bearing in life. That’s what qualifies you to be in the prime season of every life.”
