BY SEGUN ADEBAYO – Baring any change of plans or political hitches, supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, are banking on Governor Abubakar Sani-Bello of Niger State as one of the party bigwigs that will back their candidate’s presidential aspiration come 2023 elections.
This cheering news broke for them on Thursday when Asiwaju Tinubu visited the governor on a condolence visit over the spate of bandits’ killings in Niger State.
According to Governor Bello, given the transformation witnessed in Lagos due to Tinubu’s efforts when he served as the State Chief Executive, then the APC National Leader has all it takes to transform Nigeria too.
He said that he looked forward to seeing the kind of foundation laid by Tinubu in Lagos State, which led to the transformation of the commercial nerve of the nation.
“God in His wisdom gave Asiwaju the wisdom to lay the foundation of Lagos state that you see today.
“Lagos is a country within a country and we saw the foundation you laid there, we are looking forward to seeing you replicate it for Nigeria tomorrow.”
