The new wife of popular Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, Natasha Osawaru Idibia has remained silent over reports that she allegedly led a group of armed men to abduct her husband during an event in Abuja on Friday night.
It was gathered that the incident took place at Faze’s grand opening event at the 90s Lounge in Abuja, where 2Baba was scheduled to perform.
A senior member of 2Baba’s management team confirmed that a confrontation took place at the venue.
It was gathered that Natasha in company of some men who accompanied her allegedly attempted to abduct 2Baba.
The report further claimed that Natasha, who arrived at the venue with security personnel and other men, met a resistance that resulted in a confrontation involving 2Baba and members of his team.
However, checks indicated that the matter is still being kept under hush tones, thus unclear as to the possible number of casualties or if any arrest was made as a result of the incident that could be described as a breach of public peace.
Details of the circumstances that led to the reported confrontation remain unclear just as the situation involved in the spousal crisis that may have led to the attempted abduction could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.
