The Delta State Police Command at the weekend confirmed the arrest of Prince Chukwunonso Nwoko of Idumuje-Ugboko in Aniocha North Local Government Area of the state for alleged murder.
The Commissioner of Police for Delta State, CP Hafiz Inuwa said that the arrest of the self-acclaimed monarch, who is yet to be given the staff of office by the state government, was in connection with a suspected murder case.
CP Inuwa said; “We have arrested him for a case of suspected murder and efforts were made for him to appear before the police, but he failed to do honour our invitation.
“So, we arrested him early this morning (Saturday). He is presently with us and is undergoing investigation.”
Prince Nwoko, who has been parading himself as the Obi (monarch) of the Kingdom is currently cooling off his heels at the Police cell where he is being interrogated and investigated
