Alleged Signature Forgery: Ex-President Of CSU Vows To Press Criminal Charges In Court Against Tinubu
Former president of the Chicago State University (CSU), Dr. Elnara Daniel says she had concluded plans to drag President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to a United States (US) criminal court over alleged signature forgery.
Dr. Daniel noted that it was a criminal act for Bola Ahmed Tinubu to allegedly forge her signature on the certificate he is parading.
The former Chicago State University president pointedly said she did not sign the controversial certificate which Tinubu presented to Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) during his nomination process in 2022, adding that she was not even a staff of the institution until 19 years after the certificate allegedly was forged.
Daniel particularly wondered how she could have sign a certificate which was allegedly issued in 1979 when she actually began work at the University in 1998.
Daniel further said she was only waiting for the University to officially release Tinubu’s academic records to Atiku Abubakar on Monday, October 2, as ordered by the U.S. District Court, adding that she has finished putting her papers together preparatory to filing a criminal case against Tinubu.
Also, she explained that her plans to press a criminal charge against President Tinubu was a result of the pressures by her family, friends and associates to clear her name from allegations in the media that she was bribed by the embattled Nigerian president to sign the alleged forged certificate.
Daniel specifically said during her tenure at the Chicago State University, there was no student with the name “Tinubu” throughout her stay as the president of the institution.
