BY EDMOND ODOK – The former Governor of Katsina State, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari has been appointed to head the new board of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) as its Chairman.
In approving Masari’s appointment, President Bola Tinubu also nominated six other qualified Nigerians to serve with him on the Fund’s board.
Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale said in a statement that those listed as members of the board include Senator Sani Danladi, Mr Sunday Adepoju and Mr Nurudeen Adeyemi
Others are Mrs Esther Onyinyechukwu Ukachukwu, Mr Turaki Ibrahim and Mr Aboh Eduyok
Ngelale said the President expects the new members of the board of this pivotal institutional vehicle to be dedicated and committed to driving TETFund’s objective of providing the needed support for tertiary education with a view to enhancing the productivity and quality of higher education.
