APC NWC Appoints Giadom As Acting National Secretary

… Congratulates Bagudu over his election as chairman, Progressive Governors’ Forum

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has appointed Hon Victor Giadom as the Party’s acting National Secretary.

A statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu said the acting appointment is pending when Yobe State chapter of the party nominates a replacement for the former National Secretary, Mai Mala Buni, who is the Governor-elect of Yobe State.

Before his appointment, Hon Giadom was the Party’s Deputy National Secretary.

In a related development, the National Working Committee (NWC), of the APC has congratulated Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State on his election as the new Chairman, Progressives Governors’ Forum (PGF).

The party said that Bagudu’s unanimous election is well deserved, adding that his achievements in the agricultural sector, particularly rice production which is in line with the diversification agenda of the President Muhammau Buhari-led APC administration.

A statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu said that in line with the PGF’s Objectives of promoting good governance, ensuring developmental synergy across APC States and promoting the social democratic programmes of the APC, the party is confident that under Bagudu’s leadership, the PGF will continue to contribute to the growth of the party, promote its progressive ideals and support the President Buhari administration to continue to deliver on the promises made to the Nigerian people.

“We wish Bagudu a successful tenure as Chairman, Progressives Governors’ Forum (PGF),”Issa-Onilu said.
