- Akeredolu, Dambazau handle security, Sanwo-Olu heads finance
With preparations its June 6 to 8 presidential convention now in full swing, the All Progressives Congress (APC), has set up of 18 sub-committees to take charge of activities.
National Publicity Secretary of the ruling party, Felix Morka, who disclosed this in a statement issued on Wednesday night in Abuja, said Governor Muhammad Yahaya of Gombe State and Minister of Finance, Hajiya Zainab Ahmed are in charge as co-chair of the budget sub-committee.
Chairing Finance and Logistics subcommittee is the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, while Accreditation and Decoration will be handled by Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State.
The Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, is in charge of Security and Compliance and will be ably assisted by a former Minister of Interior, General Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau (rtd).
For the Election Planning Sub-committee, Governors Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State and Hope Uzodinma of Imo State have been named as co-Chairmen to take charge of affairs.
