BY SEGUN ADEBAYO, ABUJA – Ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential and gubernatorial primaries, there are no challengers for President Muhammadu Buhari and three governors on the governing party’s platform.
Presidential aide on New Media and Coordinator of Buhari Centre, Bashir Ahmad, who released the information on his twitter handle, said ten APC’s governors are seeking for re-election in 2019.
According to him, apart from President Buhari, who will be unchallenged for the Party’s presidential ticket, Governors Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano; Bello Masari of Katsina; and Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna also do not have opponents challenging them in the governorship primaries in their respective states.
