The Executive Director, Finance, North Central Development Commission (NCDC), Prof. Muhammad Bashar Nuhu Tachi has congratulated the Governor of Niger State, Farmer Umaru Bago, the senator representing Niger East Senatorial District, Muhammad Sani Musa (313), and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on their emergence as the party’s flag bearers for the 2027 general elections.
Prof. Nuhu Tachi, in the statement, described their emergence as a clear demonstration of the confidence and trust reposed in them by party stakeholders and members across the state, noting that the outcome reflected the collective will of the people within the APC fold.
Nuhu Tachi, who was commissioner for Tertiary Education in Niger State, noted that the seamless conduct of the APC’s primary elections was a strong indication of unity, mutual understanding and cooperation among party members, adding that it has further strengthened internal democracy within the APC in Niger State.
He further said that the orderly and transparent nature of the primaries has not only enhanced the credibility of the party’s internal processes, but has also positioned it as a model of political maturity and stability ahead of the 2027 general election.
Nuhu Tachi particularly commended Governor Bago, as the leader of the party in the State for his exemplary leadership and strategic interventions in resolving political disagreements among aspirants and other critical stakeholders.
He said that Bago’s ability to foster dialogue, reconciliation, and consensus among party members played a pivotal role in ensuring a rancour-free process, which ultimately led to the peaceful emergence of candidates.
The NCDC Executive Director also said that the emergence of Senator Muhammad Sani Musa (313) is a testament to his wide acceptability, proven track record, and sustained connection with the people of Niger East Senatorial District.
Nuhu Tachi also said that the continued support accorded to Senator Musa reflects the confidence of his constituents in his representation and capacity to deliver democratic dividends.
While expressing optimism about the APC’s prospects in the 2027 general election, Nuhu Tachi prayed for the success of all the candidates of the party at all levels, urging them to remain steadfast, united, and committed to the ideals of good governance and service to the people.
He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment and loyalty to the APC, pledging to work tirelessly with other party stakeholders to ensure victory for the party across all levels in the 2027 general election.
