Assault At Sex Toy Shop: Police Grant Senator Abbo Bail
BY AMOS DUNIA, ABUJA – Senator Elisha Abbo representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, who allegedly assaulted a nursing mother at a sex toy shop in Abuja, was on Friday granted bail by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command.
The embattled senator, who on Wednesday tendered an unreserved apology to Nigerians and the victim of his assault, went to the FCT Police Command on Thursday and presented himself for investigation into the matter he already admitted guilt and apologized for.
It was gathered that the embattled senator was granted bail on self-recognition after providing answers to the enquiries by the police investigators.
However, the assaulted nursing mother was not present at the police command when Senator Abbowas being interrogated.
In this wise, she was unable to give her own side of the story which was evidently captured by the CCTV camera installed in the sex toy shop.
Forefront News however gathered that the female victim of the embattled Senator, whom the FCT Commissioner of Police said has been contacted, travelled out of Abuja to attend the burial of a member of her family.
