Attack On GYB: Senator Smart Adeyemi Is An Ingrate – Hon. Karimi Campaign Organisation Says

BY SEGUN ADEBAYO, ABUJA – The Sunday Karimi Campaign Organisation has described as most unfortunate, the action and unwarranted attacks by Senator Smart Adeyemi on Governor Yahaya Bello, who rescued and resuscitate him from political oblivion in 2019.

The organisation noted that Adeyemi’s has always exhibited pettiness and derives pleasure in paying people that assist positively in one way or the other with bad, stressing that the time has come for the embattle senator to know and appreciate the fact that Kogi State is not his personal property.

The Campaign Organisation noted that Adeyemi has been tolerated for too long and therefore urged him to look back at those who have helped him to be what he is today for which he fought all of them one by one.

The organisation specifically noted that the attack on Governor Yahaya Bello by Senator Adeyemi through a cartoon aimed at denigrating the governor was most unfortunate, adding that such unwarranted remarks is totally at variance with the status of Governor Bello.

Adeyemi had posted a cartoon caricature on his status depicting Governor Bello on a stretcher with President Muhammadu Buhari showing him a red card saying; “bye bye to Yahoo boy government in Kogi state”.

Karimi advised Adeyemi to retrace his steps and have a rethink particularly against the self-induced over bloated ego and his practice of always biting the fingers that fed him.

According to the organisation; “If the Senator who was politically resuscitated in 2019 by Governor Yahaya Bello, who paid his political and legal fees could come under this kind of attack, it is clear that he cannot be trusted.

“From experience, we have always known the Senator as one who has always turned around to bite those who assisted him in his political career. We are not surprised at his actions. The attack on the Governor is his stock in trade and is so used to it.

The Campaign Organisation also said that it is aware of how Hon. Karimi sacrificed so much for Adeyemi along with others too numerous to mention, who helped him politically and expressed displeasure that he only succeeded in paying them in bad light.

It appealed to Governor Bello not to take the attempt by Adeyemi to malign him with a pinch of salt, saying that Kogi West Senatorial District is full of responsible people.
