While emphasizing the need for careful scrutiny of all campaign messages, the PDP stalwart also encouraged residents who participated in the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR), organized by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) that would ensure their participation in the upcoming election.

He further stated that; “As we approach the Edo State 2024 governorship election, it’s vital for everyone to stay attentive and informed, ensuring that they understand the various campaign messages being presented”.

According to the Campaign Management Council Spokesman, the public needs to know that INEC has designated Thursday, August 22, to Monday, August 26, for PVC collection for those who took part in the recent voter registration.

“This is a reminder for those who participated in the Continuous Voter Registration to collect their PVCs. It’s essential for exercising your right to vote,” Martins added.

He explained that the PVC collection would take place at the Ward Collation Centres in the 18 local government areas, emphasizing that having the PVCs and participating in the electoral process are key to maintaining the integrity of the election.
