Bauchi: Gov Bala Makes U-Turn, Reappoints Three Sacked Commissioners As Special Advisers

BY ADEYEMI AKANJI, BAUCHI – Governor Bala Mohammed has reappointed three of the five former Commissioners he dropped from his cabinet as Special Advisers in the administration.

This was contained in a statement by Mukhtar Gidado, Special Adviser to the Bauchi State Governor on Media and Publicity, saying that the reappointed former Commissioners were brought back into the administration to continue their services.

The three former Commissioners reappointed as Special Advisers were Abubakar Abdulhameed Bununu now Special Adviser on Multi-lateral coordination and Regional Integration, Comrade Usman Danturaki – Special Adviser on Labour Matters and Contributory Pension Scheme and

Professor Simon Madugu Yalams as Special Adviser on Technical and Vocational Education.

Gidado also said that the latest appointments which take immediate effect, are part of Governor Mohammed’s commitment to ensuring effective leadership, inclusivity, and the attainment of his administration’s developmental goals.

The statement further stated; “Governor Bala Mohammed urges the appointees to bring their wealth of experience, dedication, and expertise in their respective fields in order to contribute significantly towards the attainment of the Governor’s vision for Bauchi State”.

Mohammed also called on the reappointed public officers to discharge their responsibilities with diligence, transparency, and renewed focus on improving the lives of the people of Bauchi State.

The Governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to good governance, accountability, and inclusive development for all citizens of the State.
