BY ADEYEMI AKANJI – Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed has sacked the commissioner for Women Affairs and Child Development, Hajiya Zainab Baban Takko.
This was contained in a terse statement by Mukhtar Gidado, Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, stating that the Commissioner has been relieved of her duties by Governor Mohammed.
No reason was however given for her sack from the State Executive Council (SEC).
The statement read thus; “The Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs & Child Development, Hajiya Zainab Baban Takko has been relieved of her appointment with immediate effect.
“The Governor thank the Honourable Commissioner for her services to the State and wishes her success in her future endeavors”.
