Boko Haram: Chadian Defense Minister Assures MNJTF Of Support

BY ALIJO SYLVESTER, ABUJA – The Chadian minister of Defence, Lieutenant General Bichara Issa Djadallah has assured the Commander of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), Major General Lucky Irabor of the Chadian government’s support towards the success of the ongoing fight against insurgency.

General Djadallah gave the assurance while receiving the Commander MNJTF on a courtesy call to his office at the Ministry of Defence, Ndjamena.

Responding, the Force Commander (FC), General Irabor thanked the Chadian Defence minister for the warm reception accorded to him and his entourage. General Irabor briefed the minister on the current activities, achievements and future plans of the MNJTF.

He appreciated the President of Chad, Idriss Deby Itno, the Chadian Armed Forces, Security agencies and the good people of Chad for their unflinching support and cooperation to the MNJTF.

General Irabor was accompanied by the Deputy Force Commander, Brigadier General Moussa Mahamat Djoui, Colonel Oumar Doro and Colonel Mustapha Anka.
