BREAKING: Atiku Formally Joins PDP

BY AMOS DUNIA, ABUJA – Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who recently dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Sunday formally, joined the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Atiku, who announced on his Facebook wall late Sunday evening, explained that the complaints he had with the PDP, a platform under which he was elected Vice President from 1999-2007, have been resolved thereby laying the groundwork for his return to a party he was part of its founding fathers.

Atiku’s formal return to the PDP was later collaborated with a statement from his media office which said that after consultations, Atiku joins PDP

The statement reads; Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has announced his return to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The announcement on Sunday on Facebook Live followed consultations the former Vice President had with party leaders and stakeholders from across the country.
