Breaking: Buhari Extends Lockdown In FCT, Lagos, Ogun For Another 14 days
Expectedly, the Federal Government has extended the lockdown in the nation’s capital, Abuja, Lagos and Ogun States for another 14 days
In a nationwide broadcast on network television and radio, President Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday night said residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Lagos and Ogun States must endure another two weeks sit-at-home order as part of sacrifice for Nigeria to defeat COVID-19
He also encouraged Nigerians to bear a little bit longer with the government to sustain the gains so far achieved in the fight against the spread of corona virus in the country.
Similarly, President Buhari directed that the current social register in the country should be expanded from the present 2.6 million to 3.6 million Nigerians in the next one week as part of the Federal Government extended palliatives’ packages
