Buhari: Diaspora Nigerians Flay Evil Rumours
A group of Nigerians on the platform of ‘The Association of Nigerian Entrepreneurs in the Diaspora’, has condemned in its totality, those behind what they described as “the evil rumours” about President Muhammadu Buhari.
The group therefore urged those behind the act to, as a matter of necessity, stop the unfortunate rumours, just as it implored the Federal Government to investigate and fish out the perpetrators with a view to taking some form of action against the perpetrators for heating the polity and causing public panic.
A statement issued by the Chairman of the group, Mr. Charles Sylvester, described as inhuman and immoral, any wish for the death of a human being by another person.
According to Sylvester; “Instead of spreading such evil rumours, Nigerians should pray for the president’s good health and for God to grant him the wisdom to lead Nigeria to greatness.
“By such unfounded rumours, those behind it have brought emotional pain and torture not only to the members of the president’s immediate family, but to his friends, associates and indeed many Nigerians who have been distressed by such evil rumours .
“The rumours could also cost the country a lot of investment due to the unwarranted uncertainty caused by the rumour peddlers.”
The Association of Nigerian Entrepreneurs in the Diaspora commended President Buhari on the efforts of his government and the Armed forces in defeating the terrorists group Boko Haram and created a better security for investors in Nigeria.
The group also urged Nigerians of all strata to unite and support the government by capitalising on such gains. He expressed optimism that the Federal Government will surely overcome current economic challenges and get the country out of the recession which he noted was a consequence of the mismanagement by the previous administrations.
