The theme of this year’s World AIDS Day is; “End Inequalities, End AIDS through Sustainable HIV Financing” and the Director-General, Cross River State Agency for the Control of AIDS (CR-SACA), Dr Etcheri Ansa said activities to mark the day on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, include Awareness walk by dignitaries and participants from the University of Calabar (UNICAL) Main Gate to the University of Calabar Conference Centre.
Also on the day’s programme are health talks from top government officials and implementing partners; Commissioning of the University of Calabar Youth Friendly Centre; HIV Counselling and Testing; and a presentation of “Leaving No Youth Behind in Ending AIDS” among others.
