COVID-19 Update: NCDC Confirms 17 New Cases, Nigeria’s Tally Now 305

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said that as at 09:30 pm on April 10, 2020, the number of #COVID19 confirmed cases stood at 305 in Nigeria. 

It further disclosed that the figure was updated following 17 new cases reported from seven states of the Federation. 

Among the states listed in the fresh cases are: Lagos (8), Katsina (3), FCT (2), Niger (1), Kaduna (1), Anambra (1) and Ondo (1).

According to the NCDC’s records, till date, 58 patients have been treated and discharged with seven (7) deaths recorded

Meanwhile, the NCDC has also  explained that three cases previously included as Lagos state cases have been transferred to Ogun state. 

It said the three cases are those living in satellite towns in Ogun close to Lagos. With this development, Lagos State therefore has reported 163 confirmed cases while Ogun State now has reported seven (7) confirmed cases
