Former Senate President, David Mark Loses First Son, Tunde
The first son of former President of the Senate, David Mark, Jonathan Tunde Mark is dead.
Information pieced together by Forefront News indicated that the 51-year-old Tunde died in the early hours of Friday in London after a protracted battle with the deadly cancer disease.
It was also gathered that arrangements are being made to fly his corpse to the country for burial in the coming days. Already, sympathisers have started thronging to the residence of Senator David Mark situated at the GRA, Otukpo, Benue State for condolence visits.
Born on October 13, 1971, in Otukpo, Benue State, Nigeria, Tunde attended Yaba Military School, Yaba-Lagos where he obtained his first School Leaving certificate before he proceeded to Fernden Prep School, Haslemere, Surrey, the United Kingdom where he attended Secondary School.
A Biochemist, Tunde obtained his B.Sc degree from Kings College, London where he studied Immunology alongside Biochemistry and later Biological Sciences at the Graduate school of Art and Science, Harvard and Cambridge, Massachusetts.
He is survived by his parents, wife, who is the daughter of a Chinese politician, and his daughter.
