The Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for emerging once again as the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 general elections.
Governor Alia said that the victory of President Tinubu is well-deserved
Alia also extended warm congratulations to all those who emerged victorious as APC candidates and flagbearers across the country at the victorious stages of the primary elections conducted by the party.
He stated that their emergence is a reflection of the confidence reposed in them by party faithful and stakeholders.
The Governor particularly appreciated the National Working Committee of the APC led by Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda for providing the needed purposeful leadership, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere, and organizing transparent and successful primaries across the federation.
Alia noted that the smooth conduct of the exercise clearly demonstrated the growing strength, internal democracy, and unity within the APC family.
He expressed confidence that the APC will continue to wax stronger and remain committed to delivering purposeful leadership, good governance, and sustainable development to Nigerians.
A statement by Tersoo Kula, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Benue State, stated that Fr. Alia wished all the candidates of the APC success as they prepare for the 2027 elections.
