Solomon Wombo, during which his housekeeper was brutalized and left with various degrees of injuries.
This was as the governor stressed that his administration will not watch criminals terrorize innocent people in the state thus, assured that his government will do everything within its power to ensure that the suspects are arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law.
In the late hours of Saturday, April 6, 2024, some armed men invaded the Makurdi residence of Hon. Wombo and desperately demanded to know his whereabouts.
The invaders, after gaining entrance to the building, insisted that the main flat of the house must be opened for them to search.
While condemning the attack, Governor Alia said that the Benue State government will offer 10M Naira to anyone who will give useful information that will lead to the arrest of the suspects.
Alia charged security agencies to work tirelessly to locate the suspects, bring them to face the full wrath of the law, and also ensure greater security and safety for citizens of the state.
