Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia, has sent warm felicitations to the Chairman of the Benue State All Progressives Congress (APC) Elders Forum, Senator Barnabas Gemade, on the occasion of his 77th birthday.
Alia described Senator Gemade, who represented Benue North East Senatorial district, former Minister of Works and former Chief Executive officer of the Benue Cement Company (BCC), as an accomplished Engineer and politician, who has contributed remarkably to the service of his people and country.
The governor noted that as the Chairman of the Benue State APC Elders Forum, Senator Gemade, has been supportive of the APC administration in the state and country, contributing hugely with his wise counsel.
A statement by Sir Tersoo Kula, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Benue State, said that Rev Fr Alia prayed God to give the elder statesman and septuagenarian, more years in good health, as he continues to offer wise counsel to the state and nation.
