Governor Sule Of Nasarawa State Dissolves Exco, Sacks Some Appointees
BY AHMED TUKUR, LAFIA – Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State on Monday announced the dissolution of the State Executive Council shortly after the meeting of the Council.
Engineer Sule announced the dissolution shortly after its meeting which took place at the Government House, also announced the sacking of his Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants with the exception of those manning humanitarian services and sustainable development goals.
The governor before announcing the dissolution, thanked the former appointees for their valuable contribution, commitment and services rendered to his administration, saying that his government will continue to count on their support in the future.
Responding on behalf of the former appointees, the former Attorney General of the State and Commissioner for Justice, Professor Abdukarim Abubakar, thanked Governor Sule for the opportunity granted them to serve the state and his administration.
Abubakar assured Governor Sule of their unflinching support as the count down to 2023 general election commences.
