The Flying Eagles were initially pressurizing the Brazilians for early goals by pushing all players upfront but the recovery when they lost the ball was poor which led Carneiro Pedroso to score with a header that beat Goalkeeper Chijioke in the 43rd minute.
A struggle for an equalizer by the Nigerians gave room for Marquinhos, who in 45+2nd minute went through the legs of Chijioke for Brazil’s second goal and his first in the competition.
