He said the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, which traverses Edo state, is a legacy project of the present administration to shore up the region’s economic base with its high tech infrastructural benefits and employment opportunities in line with the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Further magnifying the ruling Party’s goodwill to the zone, Governor Otu said; “I bring you good tidings from Mr President, who has mandated me to inform the good people of Edo state that the South South zone is very dear to his heart as the bedrock of our country’s economic stay”.

According to him, recent events in the State has proved that APC is the party to beat during the elections, urging the people to “unite and dump a party that has demonstrated over the years that what they care for is our votes and our nature’s endowed resources”.
