Gunmen Kill Four Soldiers, Policemen In Rivers

Another bloody scenario confronted residents of Rivers State on Saturday night as unknown gunmen reportedly killed four security operatives in a deadly attack.

It was learnt that the gunmen had stormed military and police checkpoints along the Owerri-Port Harcourt Road in Ikwerre Local Government Area, Rivers State to execute their dastardly acts.

In the wake of the attack, which happened around 8 pm on Saturday, four policemen and two soldiers were left dead.

However, quite scary is the reports that the gunmen not only killed their victims but also beheaded two people believed to be soldiers at a military checkpoint close to the Port Harcourt International Airport, Omuagwa in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.
