Id-El-Kabir: Gov Alia Charges Muslims To Spread Love, Sacrifice, Unity

Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has charged Muslim faithful to always wear tolerance like a cloth, and spread love, sacrifice and unity.

This was as he stressed that there will be more growth and development in the country if Muslims and Christians see themselves as one, and choose to live together in peace and unity as Nigerians.

Governor Alia, who stated these while extending felicitations to Muslim faithful, as they commemorate this year’s ID EL KABIR, a significant spiritual event for the Muslim faithful, said that those are the binding principles of their faith and the only means of getting to their destination, which is God.

He therefore urged Muslim faithful in the State and country to continue to pray and support the current administration both in the state and federal level, especially as the APC led government is striving hard to fulfil its electoral mandate to the people.

While wishing the Muslim faithful Happy ID El-Kabir celebration, Governor Alia expressed optimism that the state and country will surely become better.
