I’ll Reposition Federal University, Wukari – Prof. Rabo

BY AMEH IDUJAGI, JALINGO – The new Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Wukari in Taraba State, Prof. Jude Sammani Rabo has promised that he will to strive to place the institution in an enviable position.

Rabo, who made the promise while taking over as the new Vice Chancellor of the University, said he will work hard to improve on the numerous achievements of his predecessor, Professor Abubakar Musa Kundiri.

He commended the outgoing vice Chancellor, Prof. Kundiri for the remarkable achievements recorded during his tenure and promised to make the University grow beyond its present stage and also make prompt payment of all outstanding arrears owned as soon as funds are released by the relevant authorities.

He further said; “I want to assure you that the welfare of the staff of the University will be one of my upper most priority. And I will ensure a team work that will guarantee an open door policy”.

Prof. Rabo also assured that he will complete all ongoing projects embarked upon by his predecessor and thanked the outgoing vice Chancellor for creating the enabling environment for his smooth take-over of the affairs of the institution.

The outgoing vice Chancellor, Prof. Kundiri said he has no doubt, the new vice Chancellor, will be an excellent replacement and urged the staff of the institution to accord him their maximum cooperation.

He thanked the staff of the institution for their cooperation and invaluable advices throughout his tenure as the Vice chancellor, adding that he is always ready to offer useful services whenever he is called upon.
