Former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, has said that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is on a grand plot and mission aimed at destroying democracy and Nigeria.

Secondus, who stated this while marking his 68th birthday which took place on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, stressed that it has been INEC in tango with the All Progressives Congress (APC) versus other parties in a democratic setting of multiple democracies.

He therefore charged the judiciary to rise to the huge challenge ahead of them and save the country from going down just as he also prayed to God to save Nigeria from being ruined by the inordinate ambition of some desperadoes bent on destroying the country using a visibly compromised and biased electoral commission.

Secondus said that based on the sham elections conducted by INEC, he dedicated his birthday anniversary in supplication to God to save Nigeria from the atrocities of the electoral body.

He said that he cannot celebrate when the people are dying and passing through excruciating and unprecedented hardship thus resolved to take the challenges to God.

Secondus in a statement he personally signed, said noted that the two presidential and National Assembly elections of February 25th and the Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections that took place on March 18, 2023, clearly showed that INEC is delivering a prepared script written by the All Progressives Congress (APC) and handed down to it to implement.

I the words of Secondus; “It’s sacrilegious for anybody who has been part of this country since 2015 under APC administration to think that Nigerians will want to vote for APC for any reason”.
