…Threatens To Cut Subsidies To Nigeria
President Donald Trump has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is ineffective over his inability and inaction to stop the murders of Christians, whom are dying by the thousands, saying that it is “genocide.”
Trump particularly said that the Nigerian leader has failed to curb the killings of Christians, stressing that he might be forced to halt the subsidy Nigeria has long benefitted from the U.S.
He specifically said that he was angry with the ineffective manner in which the Tinubu administration was handling the religious crisis, saying that the matter did not gain global attention until he waded into it.
Trump, who stated these while speaking on Fox News Radio’s The Brian Kilmeade Show on Friday night, labelled Nigeria “a disgrace” under the administration of President Tinubu.
He further said; “I think Nigeria is a disgrace. The whole thing is a disgrace. They’re killing people by the thousands. It’s a genocide. And I’m really angry about it”.
Trump insisted that the Tinubu’s government was not deserving of the foreign aid it benefits from the U.S. and threatened to stop the aid.
In the words of Trump; “And we pay, you know. We give a lot of subsidies to Nigeria which we are going to end up stopping.
“The government has done nothing. They are very ineffective. They are killing Christians at will. And you know, until I got involved in it two weeks ago — nobody even talked about it,” Trump stated.
