Jaiz, Kogi To Empower Women, Others
BY COBHAM NSA, ABUJA – Jaiz Bank Plc will partner Kogi State government to put smiles on the faces of women and other small scale entrepreneurs in the state.
Among the small business operators on line to benefit from the proposed collaboration are artisans, farmers, traders and the physically challenged persons.
This good news came when Jaiz Bank Plc management, led by its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Hassan Usman, visited Governor Yahaya Bello at the Government House in Lokoja.
According to Governor Bello, his administration’s vision is in sync with Jaiz Bank’s mission of making life better for humanity, adding that the Kogi State government is happy to have found a worthy and perfect partner in the Bank.
“Kogi State is safe for Jaiz Bank, who is coming to partner with us. Farmers, women, traders and artisans are going to benefit from this partnership. We stand for service to the people and that is service to humanity,” the governor said.
He also highlighted areas of likely collaboration, saying, “We want to partner with your Bank in the areas of property financing and other infrastructural financing so that we can touch the life of all citizenry.”
Speaking during the visit, Managing Director of Jaiz Bank, Hassan Usman said the institution is willing and ready to cooperate with Kogi State government to improve the people’s living standards through enhanced welfare packages and productive engagement.
“We wish and desire to partner with your government in the areas of welfare and financing. Jaiz Bank is meant to provide financing for a better life and it’s open to all”, Usman said.
