BY GRACE ANYANWU, ABUJA – Construction giant, Julius Berger Nigeria PLC at the weekend retained its top position in Nigeria’s construction sector with a fourth consecutive award in recognition of its outstanding quality and best international standards and practice in the building and construction industry for 2019.
The company bagged the same award in the 2018 event.
At a well attended event with the who is who in the various industrial sectors in attendance at the Oriental hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, Julius Nigeria emerged the winner in the building and construction sector with a Business Strength Measurement, BSM of 48.2 as against it’s 2018 rating of 47.2 an improvement of +1.
According the CEO of the BrandNigeria event, Top Brands Nigeria, Mr Taiwo Oluboyede, the BSM ratings of nominated companies are determined by their individual Brand Identity/Retention, Quality Elements, Market/Category Leadership, Innovation, National Spread, Online Engagement and their respective Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Consciousness.
Oluboyede further said; “Julius Berger has a progressive and open-minded corporate culture. The company never stands still in its efforts to drive both the organisation and it’s clients’ developments forward.”
At the event, Julius Berger was singled out for an ovation for its punctuality and being the first corporation to arrive on schedule.
