Just In: Bandits Storm Hospital In Zaria: Abduct Babies, Nurses, Security Guards
Daredevil armed bandits on Sunday invaded the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Centre (NTLC), Zaria, Kaduna State and abducted babies, female nurses and security guards from the residential quarters of the hospital.
Eye witness account said that the bandits gained access to the hospital from a nearby forest and later engaged policemen in a gun duel before they escaped with their victims.
The area known as Saye district in the outskirts of Zaria, is close to the notorious Sabon Birni, Galadima and Malu Forests where armed bandits keep their victims hostage.
