Youths Have Enough To Explore In Nigeria Than Going Outside – CEO, Oti Electronics

BY OLAKUNLE AWONIYI, ABUJA – The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of OTI Electronics, Chief Benjamin Chidiebere Oti has counseled Nigerian youths on the need to harness available resources in Nigeria than running abroad for greener pastures that are getting slimmer by the day.

Chief Oti also charged youth to learn to make a living without depending on the government for white collar jobs.

The entrepreneur, who gave the pieces of advice while speaking with journalist during the commissioning of his ultra-modern business outfit situated at Utako-Abuja, said it is easier to explore the existing potentials in the country and derive maximum benefits from them than thinking of going to another country where the conditions might be too stringent for growth.

Chief Oti, who has employed hundreds of youth across the country in his various businesses, said that there are opportunities available for youths to get engaged in such as in the area of furniture, electronics, fabrics and other businesses are open for youth.

He said the 30 newly recruited youths by his company, who are graduates, do not depend on government, rather would become employers of labor in the nearest future.

The Group Managing Director of Canopy Group of Companies also implored youths to get involved in acts and practices that could promote the image of Nigeria.

On political happenings in Nigeria, Oti said the opportunity will increase the political will of the youth adding that the slogan “not too young to run” can easily be acquired.

One of the newly recruited youths thanked the GMD for giving her the opportunity to serve, saying that based on the little time she has spent with Canopy Group also known as OTIS ELECTRONICS has changed her perspective to life as she now realized that she does not need to wait for government for a white collar job.
