Lagos Guber Poll: TFG Seeks Total Support For Sanwo-Olu

BY EDMOND ODOK – With the Saturday, March 11 Governorship elections just four days away, the Tinubu Faithful Group (TFG) says all hands must be on deck to engineer total support for the re-election of incumbent Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to the TFG’s National Coordinator, Hon. Olusola Orelaja, after ensuring the victory and emergence of His Excellency, the President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice, Kashim Shettima in the February 25 Presidential Election, the frontline support group is leaving nothing to chance in ensuring Governor Sanwi-Olu records a landslide victory in the forthcoming polls

This is as Orelaja expressed displeasure over the nonchalant attitude of some Lagosians that led to the President-Elect Tinubu losing the state which he governed excellently for eight years with three other APC governors in tow.

Noting that losing to a relatively unpopular political party like Labour Party (LP) calls for comprehensive soul searching, the TFG helmsman said the group has already redirected its focus and energy towards an aggressive door-to-door campaign for the March 11 election in the State.

In a statement signed by its Deputy Media Coordinator, Comrade Frederick Idehai, the TFG urged all legible voters in the state to come out en masse to defend their already threatened roots through the ballot by exercising their civic responsibility of voting for the APC to continue his good works in Lagos.

Also reminding the electorates of the enormous developmental strides recorded by the incumbent Governor, even in the face of global economic challenges arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, Orelaja said the current APC administration needs the voter’s backing to consolidate for the overall good and progress of all.

He further assured the President-Elect, the Lagos State Governor and other stakeholders that the TFG, as a grassroots platform with huge presence in twenty-eight (28) states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) will always engage in robust political partnership for the overall interest of the nation.
