NCDC Commiserates With Emir Of Lafia Over Death Of Brother, Alhaji Ahmad Bage

The North Central Development Commission (NCDC) has expressed profound sadness of the passing of Alhaji Ahmad Bage, stepbrother of the Emir of Lafia, His Royal Highness Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad (retd.).

In a statement, the Managing Director, DR. Cyril Yiltsen Tsenyil, on behalf of the Governing Board, Management, and Staff of the Commission, extended heartfelt condolences to the Emir, the royal family, the Lafia emirate council, and the good people of the emirate over this painful loss.

Dr. Tsenyil described the death of Alhaji Ahmad Bage as a great loss, noting that the passing of a loved one is always painful, particularly for a family that has continued to play a pivotal role in promoting peace, unity, and the rich cultural heritage of Nasarawa State and the North Central region.

The Managing Director also conveyed the sympathy of the Commission to the Government and people of Nasarawa State.

Tsenyil prayed Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Aljannatul Firdaus, and give His Royal Highness, the bereaved family, and all those affected, the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

The statement which was signed by Dr. Makut Simon Macham, Head, Media & Corporate Communications of NCDC stated that the commission stands in solidarity with the Emir of Lafia and the people of Nasarawa State during this mourning period, and also prayed that the cherished memories of the deceased will continue to be a source of comfort to his family.
