Nigeria Lacks Implementation Not Knowledge Of Challenges – Sultan
BY AMOS TAUNA, KADUNA – The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Abubakar Sa’ad III, has noted that Nigeria as a nation does not lack knowledge of the way out of its challenges but a major problem with implementation for the overall interest of the people.
Sultan Sa’ad therefore charged Nigerian leaders on the urgent need to take drastic steps towards solving the present challenges confronting the country.
Sa’ad, who stated these at the opening ceremony of the Jama’atul Nasril Islam (JNI), Central Council meeting and annual pre-Ramadan conference in Kaduna on Monday, decried what he described as the deteriorating security, economic and social problems in the country, stressing that whenever problems are allowed to linger they get worse.
He further said; “We have to get up and get immediate solutions to the problems. We need to take action on our deliberations and submit our recommendations to those in authority for implementation.”
Commenting on the forthcoming Ramadan, Sultan Sa’ad tasked Muslim clerics to preach according to the dictates of Islam as enjoined in the Holy book, stressing that they have a duty to implement all the dictates of Islam to all Muslim faithful as it is imperative that they do not fail in such endeavors.
