No Employment Slots For Sale – NNPC Ltd

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has debunked rumours making the rounds that its employment slots are up for sale to the highest bidders.

Accordingly, the oil giants have cautioned members of the public, especially job seekers to beware and discountenance such rumours to avoid being swindled by criminal elements in the country.

A statement by NNPCL’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye read thus; “The company states that there is no iota of truth in the insinuations that it has employment slots on offer to anyone who wishes to buy, describing such as antics of fraudsters who want to take advantage of unsuspecting applicants.”

The statement dated 27th August 2024, further said as “a responsible corporate entity, recruitment into the company is a straightforward process and does not involve sale of slots or inducement of any kind.”

Importantly, the NNPCL warned that anyone who pays money to any individual or so-called employment for any job in the company does so at his or her own risk.
