A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Mr Jibrin Samuel Okutepa, has said that the noise and propaganda on the fight against corruption in Nigeria is merely to divert attention.

He therefore declared that there is nothing like fighting corruption in Nigeria, saying that corruption is the way of life in government.

Okutepa in his verified Twitter handle on Friday, noted that most Nigerians of all ethnic nationalities were always united in one business venture which is the business of corruption, adding that there usually no discrimination in the aims and objectives of the particular enterprise called corruption.

According to him; “Their objective is to loot the commonwealth of the country, so as to impoverish the masses”.

He also twitted saying that those who have the statutory responsibility to fight corruption in the country are themselves not immune from the virus of corruption, stressing that anytime Nigerians see corruption agenda being fought, there is a partisan selfish interest involved.

Okutepa also said the corruption in the country has become a fabric of Nigeria, saying that Nigerians must do the needful if they really desire to move forward as a people and as a nation.
