BY SEGUN ADEBAYO, ABUJA – The Board of Trustees of NOk University, Kachia, Kaduna State, has approved the appointment of Professor Ishaya Haruna Nock as the institution’s pioneer Vice Chancellor.
The appointment followed the approval of the Governing Council at its meeting held on Friday, April 9, 2021 in Abuja.
This was contained in a statement issued by Mr Adamu Marshal on behalf of the University and made available to Forefront News, in which he stated that until his appointment, Prof Ishaya Haruna Nock was Dean, Faculty of Sciences and Head of Biological Sciences, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
Similarly, the Governing Board of the University also approved the appointment of Mr Obadiah Joshua as the Acting Registrar of the University for an initial period of six months.
Until his appointment, Mr Joshua was the Deputy Registrar of the Kaduna State University (KASU) and first Registrar of the Green Field University, Kaduna.
