Northern Group Backs Tinubu’s Economic Blueprint

BY SEGUN ADEBAYO – A Northern group, with the name, Arewa Solidarity Group (ASG), has thrown its support behind the economic blueprint presented by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to the group, Tinubu’s Economic blueprint would not only improve the economy of the nation but also boost the living standard of the citizens.

Leader of the group, Isa Ahmed, who addressed a media conference in Kaduna on Thursday, said; “Just like Tinubu had said, our major economic challenges are underinvestment and effective management, and these are what he should be looking at after emerging as the president of the nation come 2023”.

Ahmed said such a vision was achievable by building indivisible shared values of patriotism, equity, justice, and brotherhood, noting the APC candidate has assured that his administration would be business-friendly.

Additionally, he said the former Lagos State Governor was determined to support private businesses in the country and attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) to create jobs for the teeming youth populace.

While urging Nigerians to support and align with the APC National Leader’s presidential ambition, the ASG Coordinator further stated that his economic blueprint would promote businesses in sectors such as banking, Agriculture, and the telecommunication industry, among others.
