PDP Northern Leaders Decide On Party Chairman

Leaders and Elders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the 19 Northern states are currently meeting in Abuja to form a consensus on issues affecting the effective management of the opposition Party’s structures across the nation.

Chaired by the former Minister of Information, Professor Jerry Gana, the meeting is expected to specifically focus on the choice of candidates for the National chairmanship position of the party.

Those attending the meeting are Chairman of the National Caretaker Committee, Senator Ahmed Makarfi; Representatives of Senate and House of Assembly caucuses, former Governors as well as National and State Assembly members among others.
