Police Nab Kano Driver, Kidnappers’ Accomplice

BY SEGUN ADEBAYO – For his evil plans of always luring unsuspecting Kano passengers to the kidnappers’ enclave, a 25-year-old man, Bashir Sule is currently cooling his feet in Police net.

According to reports, Sule is an active player in the kidnappers new methods of abducting their victims across Kano State.

Described as a notorious kidnapper, Sule, was arrested by men of the Police anti-kidnapping team. He was among suspected hardened criminals paraded by the Police in Abuja.

The Force spokesperson, CP Frank Mba said the suspect was arrested after the police received credible intelligence exposing his modus operandi in luring potential victims to the kidnappers’ den

Confirmed reports said the suspects operated within the Kano metropolis, particularly along Janguza and Rijin Zaki Communities on the axis of the Permanent site of Bayero University Kano that houses the largest population of students in the North-West.

It was learnt that masquerading as a driver or passenger at roadside car parks, the suspect either pick passengers or pretend to be a passenger and join other commercial vehicles.

When paraded by the Police, Sule described his modus operandi in luring passengers to kidnappers’ den saying; “After picking passengers or in a commercial vehicle, I secretly sent signals to colleague kidnappers to ambush the vehicle at some routes within.

“They then abducted the passengers at the designated location. had picked up,” the 25-year-old kidnapping terror said. – With PRNigeria report
