Premier League Final Standings For 2022-23 Season
BY VICTOR OSOWOCHI – With all said and done, the 2022-2023 season finally came to a close with Manchester City chasing down Arsenal to win yet another Premier League title, their fifth crown in six seasons
On their part, Manchester United’s new-look side reclaimed a place in the top four, and so did a resurgent Newcastle United.
However, the surprise teams of the season were Brighton and Aston Villa who shocked football pundits with their qualification for Europe, ahead of seasonal competitors like Liverpool, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur who all suffered dips in form.
Everton survived the drop after a nervy win over Bournemouth leaving Leeds United and Leicester City to join Southampton as the teams to feature in the Championship next season.
