President Buhari Meets 36 States’ Governors Today
BY VICTOR BUORO, ABUJA – President Muhammadu Buhari is scheduled to meet with governors of the 36 states of the federation at the Presidential villa this afternoon.
This was confirmed in the official Twitter handle of the Presidency which reads; “President @MBuhari is meeting with the 36 State Governors this afternoon, at the State House”.
The high powered meeting is expected to take place few hours after the President met with leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and those of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The agenda of the meeting was however not stated but checks by Forefront News indicate that it might be a follow up to the national broadcast by the President in which he clearly stated that the country’s unity is not negotiable among others.
