President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 approved the appointment of nine qualified Nigerians to serve on the board of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC)
The new Board has Colonel Aloche Adole as Chairman while Dr Stephen Adegbite would serve as Secretary.
Other members of the Board include, Omowumi Olubunmi Ogunlola — South West, Clement Alobu Nweke — South East, Chief Prince Weli Wosu — South South, Prof. Joseph Haruna Mamman — North West, Dr. Toma Hamidu Ragnjiya — North East, Dr. Simon Abu Samson Dolly — North Central and Bishop Raphael Benjamin Nwankwo, who is representing the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
A statement by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, said that President Tinubu charged the new appointees to consider their appointment as an opportunity to serve the nation and, as such, wholly commit themselves to this important purpose.
