President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, dangerously slipped at the Eagles Square, venue of the 2024 Democracy Day celebration.
Tinubu, who slipped while boarding a presidential open jeep for the inspection of parade shortly after he arrived the Eagle Square, was quickly assisted back on his feet at the back of the vehicle by his security details and some of his other aides who rushed and assisted him to regain his balance.
The President had earlier assured of his commitment to his unwavering dedication to fostering an inclusive and just society through comprehensive economic and political reforms.
The President who gave the assurance in his Democracy Day National address on Wednesday, said that his administration had initiated reforms intended to create a stronger and better Nigeria.
Tinubu further stressed his commitment to building a fair and equitable Nigeria where no citizen is oppressed.
